Meet our Mamas!
Anthurium Dark Boy (Red Velvet Cake 24 x Home Sweet Home 32)
A true masterpiece created by Doc Block, this specimen is one of the most visually striking plants in our collection. Why it’s a mother: One look at those nearly black, obsidian leaves with their contrasting reddish veins and high-gloss shine says it all—it is simply breathtaking. We are currently utilizing this plant's exceptional color depth and texture in our breeding program to develop future hybrids that carry forward this dramatic, dark aesthetic.
Anthurium Golden RLFS F2
This select specimen, originally created by Young, is one of the true favorites in our collection.
Why it’s a mother: It consistently pushes out leaves with a deep, molten-gold emergent color that remains vibrant for weeks. As the foliage hardens, it shifts into a strikingly dark color with a ridiculously velvety texture—honestly, the leaves are so soft I want to wrap myself in them like a blanket. I am using this plant to pass down that incredible color, texture, and open compact sinus to my future hybrids.
Anthurium Demon (Forgetti x Carlablackiae ‘Amanda’)
Originally created by Justin Jones, this hybrid is the true crown jewel of our collection. Why it’s a mother: We love this plant for its incredible versatility and "perfect" features—it boasts a beautifully fused sinus, super prominent veins, and a deep velvety texture. Despite her dramatic appearance, she is a remarkably easy grower in our Atlanta grow tent, making her one of our most reliable and favorite breeders
Variegated Round Girl Papillilaminum x Forgetti
Acquired from Mosses, this specimen holds a special title as the very first variegated plant to enter our mother plant collection. We have had the joy of raising her since she was little.
Why it’s a mother: Her growth is a true celebration of colors, starting with vibrant pink emergents that eventually settle into high-contrast albo variegation. Beyond the color, she consistently brings her beautifully fused sinus and a perfectly round shape to our attention. We are thrilled to be using these genetics to inject both splashy variegation and excellent form into our future hybrids.
Anthurium (Dorayaki x Luxurians)
Acquired from James Woojung, this specimen is the perfect example of our deep-rooted love for Luxurians texture. Why it’s a mother: It combines the charming, cup-shaped foliage of a Dorayaki with that unmistakably rugged, bullate Luxurians surface. While she takes her time to produce seeds—classic Luxurians behavior, honestly—the quality and depth she brings to our hybrids make it well worth the wait. We keep her tucked away in our 10x10 tent where the high humidity helps those intricate textures truly shine.
Anthurium 'Red Vein Dark Phoenix'
This specific clone, acquired from Danny, is truly a legendary specimen in the hobby and a cornerstone of our collection.
With its striking red veins, exceptional texture, and deep coloration, it is a plant that screams “wow”. Oh btw, did you know RDVP clones are known to produce variegated seedlings often.
Variegated Anthurium Forgetii
This is a truly unique specimen in our collection.
Why it’s a mother: It combines a lovely, compact growth habit with beautiful variegation and the species' signature prominent veins. Finding a variegated forgetii that maintains such a nice structure and distinct veining is rare, making this a standout breeder for us
Anthurium RhinoSkin
Acquired as a special gift from Paul Goins, this specimen is one of the most sentimental plants in our entire collection.
Why it’s a mother: In addition to its sparkling sugary veins, thick leathery texture, and perfectly round, fused sinus—I love this plant most for what it represents: the genuine friendship between two plant lovers. Thriving in our Atlanta grow tent, it serves as a daily reminder of the community that makes this hobby so rewarding, and we are honored to preserve these genetics
Mr Worldwide (Teo Lineage)
This is one specimen that truly needs no description—its remarkable lineage speaks for itself.
Why it’s a mother: With its signature flat sinus and stunningly velvety leaves, 'Mr. Worldwide' is a masterclass in Anthurium form. Beyond its aesthetic perfection, this mother plant is known to produce variegated offspring on occasion, adding a layer of "genetic magic" to every hybrid we create. It is a powerhouse in our collection and thrives in our 10x10 indoor grow tent.
